This kit creates hanging cover beneath a dock, pier or boathouse. Reclaimed PVC strips provide dense refuge for fry and surface area where algae, periphyton and small aquatic organisms can develop naturally.
Two-pack contents
Two PVC hanging bars 24 strips per bar; 48 total 48 reclaimed PVC strips, 9 feet each Heavy 250-pound mono leader Brass attachment crimp Approximately 40 square feet of total surface area Adjust the hanging depth
Bend each 9-foot strip in half and mount both sides to the PVC bar. When the completed pair hangs together from the mono leader, the habitat extends more than 5 feet below the line. Run the included leader through the center hole and fasten it with the supplied crimp. The flexible strips move with wave and current action.
