Heavier transition habitat with dense lower protection

Safehouse Deluxe builds on the original Safehouse with a larger cement-filled base, more reclaimed PVC material and flexible lower guards. Its dense center protects fry and forage fish while the taller outer limbs create shade and movement lanes through mid-depth water.

Safehouse Deluxe specifications

54 inches tall Recommended freshwater depth: 6–12 feet Approximately 28 pounds More than 60 square feet of surface area Limbs 1.5–4 inches wide 10-inch cement-filled base Shape the profile for the placement

Bend some limbs outward for a wider footprint and leave others tall for vertical relief. Cement is built into the patented double-layer base, so no separate ballast or anchor is needed. Use the Deluxe model between shallower nursery cover and deeper holding structure.

Choose Deluxe for its complete profile and larger base.

Choose Safehouse Deluxe when your habitat plan calls for more reclaimed PVC, flexible lower guards and a larger cement-filled base than the original Safehouse. Its dense lower cover and taller outer limbs serve a transition between shallow refuge and deeper holding structure. The recommended freshwater range is 6–12 feet.

Deluxe stands 54 inches tall and weighs approximately 28 pounds, compared with the original Safehouse at 48 inches and about 16 pounds. Original Safehouse is recommended for 5–8 feet. Choose by usable water depth, the openings you want and the weight you can safely move, rather than treating the taller model as an automatic upgrade for every pond.

Before carrying it to the water, plan the handling route and shape some limbs outward while leaving others tall. The 10-inch cement-filled base needs no separate anchor or ballast. Leave fishing and boat lanes clear, check low-water clearance, and place the unit only in water that remains suitable for fish through seasonal oxygen changes.
