Bass Using Fishiding Safehouse Habitat

About this video

Watch underwater footage of bass using Fishiding Safehouse habitat and study how fish relate to the cover and its surrounding edges.

This underwater clip focuses on bass around a Fishiding Safehouse habitat complex. Watch the relationship between the fish and the structure: where fish hold close to cover, how they approach its edges, and how the openings relate to the surrounding water.

The useful question for a habitat plan is how cover fits into the rest of the fishery. A place for larger fish to hold serves a different purpose from dense nursery protection for fry. Pair this observation with a plan for nearby shallow cover and deeper water. One clip records activity at one location; it does not establish fish growth, survival, or results in another lake.
